About
I'm a South-Asian American actor, executive-producer and writer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. My recent works include the upcoming psychological thriller Dark Soul River, Track Shack (screened at the Sundance Film Festival) and The Serene Place.
In a parallel-life, I work as a software developer, engineering systems that propel networking backbones across data-centers, campuses and AI clusters (the last of which threatens my artistic career). I have an interesting time dealing with these two conflicting halves every day.
I was born & raised in Chennai, India and currently live in San Jose, California with my wife and dog.

I've appeared on a number of award-winning independent films, TV shows, comedy-sketches and music videos. Explore my Actor self.

RESUME
Outside of screen, I've performed in multiple stage productions, radio-plays and audio-book narrations. More about my off-screen ventures at the Theater section.
Producing
As a storyteller, I'm focused on bringing human-interest narratives with social impact to life. As an executive-producer, I'm drawn towards thrillers. Kartography Films attempts to marry the two.
Kartography Films: South-Asian led multicultural stories geared towards a global audience. Meaningful yet entertaining. Creatively refreshing yet commercially viable. Dark Soul River is our first feature film!

Writing
My writing often leans toward human foibles, how our deepest psychological needs amplify the stakes of contemporary, day-to-day situations.
The resulting stories can be comedy or drama, but they're always humanistic.
I enjoy writing in the short-form space - screenplays, stage-plays and prose. Explore works at my Writer self.
